Loop the Lake for Literacy

Choose one of five beautiful scenic rides:
- The 15 mile “Sonnet” Ride.
- The 31 mile “Short Story” Ride.
- The 45 mile “Novel” Ride.
- The 62 mile “Classic” Ride - Metric Century. Added by popular demand!
- The 115 mile “Epic” Ride - Full Loop.
The three shorter rides occur along the dike without car traffic, while the Epic and Classic include some riding on open roads. All rides provide an opportunity to see a uniquely beautiful part of the world, The Everglades, from an unusual vantage point in the breezy path above the legendary Sea of Grass.
Cost:
Save with early registration until February 1st.
- 15-mile, 31-mile 45-mile or 62-mile rides — $85.00 ($105 after 2/1/2012)
- 115-mile Full Loop ride — $145.00 ($165 after 2/1/2012)
Starting times:
6 a.m. Registration and Breakfast
7 a.m. Full Loop start time
8 a.m. 15-mile, 31-mile 45-mile and 62-mile ride start times
All five rides will begin and end at Torry Island at the Belle Glade Marina Campground. Arrive early, because all rides will start promptly at the appointed hours.
All rides include:
• Optional chip timing
• Rest/aid stations and support vehicles
• Breakfast and Lunch

• Finisher’s medal• Award and recognition ceremony

Directions:
From south of West Palm Beach: Take I-95 north to exit 68 (Southern Blvd.) for US-98 W/FL-80. Make a left and continue west for 37.9 miles.
- Continue onto Hooker Hwy (SR 812 West) for 1.1 miles.
- Turn left (south) onto SR 715 (NW 16th Street).
- Continue 2.7 miles to W. Canal St. North and turn right (west).
- Continue 2.3 miles to the Belle Glade Marina Campground.
