Would you like to help a child improve their reading skills?
Become a trained volunteer tutor with the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County!
Fill out the Building Better Readers Volunteer Registration Form to REGISTER .
Tutor first and/or second grade children, one-to-one, in reading at selected elementary schools throughout Palm Beach County during school hours. Tutor two 90 minute sessions a week (or team up with another volunteer, each tutoring one session per week).
After School Tutoring
Commit to tutor a child, one-to-one, in reading comprehension at the Literacy Coalition’s Blume Literacy Center after school. Tutor for one to two hours, one day a week. Background check is required.
