Forecast Calls for Snow!
Please join the Literacy Coalition on Thursday, October 7, 2010, and read The Snowy Day, by award-winning author Ezra Jack Keats, to children throughout Palm Beach County.
Read for the Record is a campaign designed to bring attention to the importance of early education. By encouraging thousands of children and adults to read the same book on the same day, we aim to break a world record and make early education a community priority.
Bring your preschool child to Palm Beach Ice Works, 1590 Florida Mango Rd,
West Palm Beach at 10 a.m. on October 7 to hear celebrity readers, see ice skating and enjoy and a truly Snowy Day! To register, call (800) 273-1030.

This annual event was created in 2006 by Jumpstart, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that all children in America enter kindergarten ready to succeed.
