Our Children’s Literacy programs provide early literacy skills to children while promoting verbal interaction, parent-child bonding and school readiness to engage and inspire children to become life-long readers. We recruit and train volunteer tutors to work one-to-one with students throughout the county.

“I moved to Florida several years ago and wanted to get involved. I tried several different volunteer positions, but just never felt satisfied. I didn’t feel needed. I’ve finally found my place. This is so rewarding. I find myself thinking about ‘my children’ regularly.”
