Directions to Palm Beach Atlantic University:
On Interstate 95 take the Okeechobee Boulevard exit. Go East and pass CityPlace on your left. Stay in the right lane and cross Dixie Highway. Turn right at the next intersection, Olive Avenue. The parking lot is on the left side right next to the Rinker Building. There is additional parking off Okeechobee Blvd.

Description: 
This workshop is designed to prepare volunteers to work with adult literacy students.  After the training day, tutors will be referred to community agencies and matched with individuals seeking assistance.  Volunteers will tutor adults one to one or in a classroom setting.  Tutoring sessions are usually once or twice a week for two hours.  The sessions are held in public places such as schools or libraries.

Cost:  $5.00 registration fee includes a tutor workbook.
Lunch:  Please bring a brown bag lunch and drink.
Please note:  A sweater is often useful due to variations in air conditioning.
