The Grand Bee Set for Nov. 1 at Harriet Himmel Theater

 

 

A Night of Literary Fun and Games to Benefit the Literacy Coalition of PBC

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla., Sept. 21, 2018 – All things Florida. That’s the theme for this year’s Grand Bee to benefit the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County. The theme only seems fitting since the 2018 Read Together Palm Beach County book is Best. State. Ever. A Florida Man Defends His Homeland by author and humorist Dave Barry.

The Bee is returning to the Harriet Himmel Theater at CityPlace on Nov. 1 but will keep its new, no pressure, “game night with friends” feel with group trivia and spelling. The fun begins at 6 p.m. and includes dinner and drinks.

Literacy Coalition Board of Directors Member Kimberly Lea of Keiser University is returning as The Grand Bee Chairman. The 2017 Grand Bee Champions, the Akerman LLP Team, are also returning to defend their title.

There are many ways businesses and individuals can support the Bee:
